Why you do it

Kids having a cozy time with Steve Henry's new book, HERE COMES BIG BUNNY. Seeing this picture he said, "That's why you do it."

Originally from Nashville, Steve is a city lover through and through. Witness the multiplicty of busy city dwellers and many architecturally varied buildings throughout his most recent book. As Publishers Weekly says of the high-spirited scenes , "Each page delivers plenty to pore over, inviting kids to make up their own stories-within-the-story, and the revelation of the bunny's identity (a parade is involved) should elicit some larger-than-life chuckles."

*I thought describing this scene as "cozy" was my own idea--but now realize that the little girl, who's a beginning reader, has the word emblazoned on her pajama's knee.
