I was working in the garden so Tom headed off to pick up my artwork from the Artists of Northern Westchester Show.

He returned empty-handed with the news that a woman had bought it for her newly married daughter's new home.

Years later I did a monoprint based on a photo of the painting.

Ah, making the monoprint, I didn't remember that images reverse in printing.

With my friend, fellow artist Barbara Hammel, at the Mehu Gallery's Equus exhibit.

My painting "Wild Ride" is based on a tiny black-and-white photo of my mom as a little girl. I like reimagining black-and-white scenes in color and could just see Mom galloping off to parts unknown.
